One of the most spectacular A-10 shots ever

That's one of the most spectacular A-10 shots I've ever seen!



This photo was taken by Warthog News contributor James O'Rear from the United States at Barry Goldwater Gunnery Range near Gila Bend, Arizona, April 12, 2011.

James has titled this picture "Hawg moon rising" - Rising moon crosses paths with A-10C 82-0663 from the 354th Fighter Squadron as it dives down for a bomb run. (Photo by James O'Rear) Full size

Meanwhile, on the Warthog Territory Forums, WTF moderator Joe "Dice-man" Hodges called it Bad Moon Rising

And so, I remembered an old song of Creedence Clearwater Revival: Bad Moon Rising

BTW: CCR was one of my favorite bands as I was a teenager... And John Fogerty and his boys did a great job to entertain U.S. service members during the Vietnam War.
