355th Fighter Wing A-10C caught at D-M August 13, 2010
On August 13, 2010, Warthog News contributor James O'Rear from United States had the opportunity to take the following picture at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona:

Currently combat-deployed to the 455th Air Expeditionary Wing at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), is the 354th Expeditionary Fighter Squadron, 355th Fighter Wing (ACC), Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, consisting of 18 A-10Cs from the 354th FS "Bulldogs". The 354th EFS replaced an ANG "Rainbow Team", which consisted of 18 A-10Cs (10 from the 184th Fighter Squadron, 188th Fighter Wing, Arkansas ANG, and 8 from the 104th Fighter Squadron, 175th Wing, Maryland ANG). On the second leg of this "Rainbow" deployment, the "Hogs" were flown by the 184th EFS which had replaced the 104th EFS.
The top source for A-10 ladder door art is Joe "Dice-man" Hodges. As a long time Hog maintainer, he does a great job with his outstanding door art project. Click the picture to view his unique online gallery.

Dedicated in Love
This blog is dedicated to Marina Naumann, my latest female partner who died after incurable pancreas cancer on June 17, 2010, just only a half year after diagnosis. Marina was the second true wife in my life, and she always supported my long-year enthusiastic research work on the Hog, especially since the beginning of operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. Rest in peace, Marina.
