At Monte Real Air Base, Portugal, aviation photographer Marco Casaleiro from Portugal had the opportunity to take more shots of participating A-10Cs from the 81st Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Wing (USAFE), Spangdahlem AB, Germany. Via e-mail, Marco told me [edited by Warthog News]:
Two missions on Friday:
Morning: Four-ship take-off 10H30 81-0981, 81-0966, 81-0962, 82-0654 (and landing 11H53).
Afternoon: Two-ship take-off 14H23 (81-0962, 81-0981); Two-ship take-off 14H31 (82-0650, 82-0654); One-ship landing 15H12 (82-0650); Three-ship landing 16H25 (81-0962, 81-0981, 82-0654)
The photos are from the morning mission during the "end-off" before take-off.
