Special thanks to Bruce Smith for sharing his exclusive Nellis A-10s shots and related knowledge on Warthog News as a contributor! Bruce is a well-known aviation photographer from Las Vegas, about 5 miles from Nellis. He also submitted this Nellis A-10s update:
The following are coded WA:
79-0204, 80-0185, 80-0200, 80-0229 (marked '66th WPS'), 80-0234, 81-0946, 81-0958. 81-0977 is/was assigned here but I haven't seen it in many months. 78-0701 has been here for several months now and flies with WAs, although it is unmarked.
The following are coded OT:
79-0171, 79-0199, 80-0242, 82-0658. 79-0169 is/was assigned here but I have not seen it in many months either.
It is possible 977 and 169 are getting new wings and will be back.
