Former 81st Fighter Squadron A-10C caught at D-M

Warthog News contributor James O'Rear from United States had the opportunity to catch A-10C 81-0984, formerly assigned to the 81st Fighter Squadron, 52nd Fighter Wing (USAFE), Spangdahlem AB, Germany, at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, January 11, 2010.

Note: Looks to me like this unmarked aircraft is currently assigned to one of 355th Fighter Wing's three A-10 squadrons.

  1. Nice Picture. If you look closer you can see the BDU-33 Practice Bombs.
I got the 984 in May2009 on Nordhorn Range/germany for the last Time.
