104th Fighter Squadron A-10Cs caught at Nellis

By Joachim Jacob, Warthog News Editor

At Nellis AFB, Nevada, Warthog news contributor Bruce Smith from the United States had the opportunity to take the following shots of A-10Cs from the 104th Fighter Squadron, 175th Wing (Maryland Air National Guard).

As Bruce told me via e-mail, A-10Cs 78-0640 and 78-0704 from the 104th Fighter Squadron are also currently at Nellis. He wrote: Not sure what they are doing here. They may be here to participate in the ME phase of Weapons School, or not. They flew twice a day Monday and Tuesday by themselves as GUN, did not see them on Wednesday during the ME day mission, but other things like local "Hogs", "Buffs" and "Bones" did not fly either.

Bruce, many thanks for sharing these rare shots! And good hunting for taking some more!

Please note: Currently, there's no related official info on 175th Wing's and Team Nellis's public websites.
