A-10Cs practice flying maneuvers

Two very nice official USAF shots, released today by 23rd Wing Public Affairs:

3/22/2010 - Two A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft from the 74th and 75th Fighter Squadrons fly behind a HC-130P/N Combat King from the 71st Rescue Squadron during a flight training session here March 16, 2010. The A-10C is the first Air Force aircraft specially designed for close air support of ground forces. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Benjamin Wiseman) Full size

Note: By vieving the right main gear well, it looks to me like 667.

3/22/2010 - Three A-10C Thunderbolt II aircraft from the 74th and 75th Fighter Squadrons fly in formation during a flight training session here March 16, 2010. The two combat-ready A-10C squadrons are part of Moody's 23rd Fighter Group, the Air Force's largest A-10C fighter group. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Benjamin Wiseman) Full size

Note: That's one of the greatest official USAF A-10 shot since years! From front to back: A-10 81-0967 from the 74th Fighter Squadron, A-10 79-0157 from the 75th Fighter Squadron, A-10 79-0159 from the 75th Fighter Squadron. All three aircraft are equipped with AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning System.
