Whiteman Air Force Base hosts air show and open house

6/8/2009 - The 442nd Fighter Wing helped host the Wings Over Whiteman air show and open house along with the 509th Bomb Wing. It was the first open house at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, in three years and drew an estimated 30,000 people.

Airman Laspino is an Air Force reservist assigned to the 442nd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron as a weapons loader. She and her teammates load bombs, bullets and other ordnance on A-10s for the 442nd Fighter Wing, an Air Force Reserve unit based at Whiteman.
