2/16/2012 - SPANGDAHLEM AIR BASE, Germany -- Staff Sgt. Zach Neithamer, 52nd Maintenance Operations Squadron 81st Aircraft Maintenance Unit scheduler, is the Super Saber Performer for the week of Feb. 16-23. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman Senior Airman Natasha Stannard) Hi-res

Most memorable Air Force experience [quoted in his profile - Warthog News]: Stepping outside my career field and being trained as an engine troop on A-10 Thunderbolt IIs while deployed to Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. We completed 13 engine swaps to keep jets in the sky during the first democratic elections in Afghanistan.

  1. That particular aircraft was one of many I remember seeing flying out of RAF Woodbridge as a boy back in the early eighties. Still going strong after all these years.

    Keep up the good work!
