Major awarded with incentive flight

Released by 442nd Fighter Wing Public Affairs

11/15/2012 - Maj. Cathy Roberts, 442nd Operations Group executive officer, prepares for an incentive flight in a T-38 Talon, Nov. 14, 2012. Roberts was nominated for the incentive flight for her hard work and dedication as the project officer for the October 2012 consolidated unit inspection. Note: On her flight suite Maj. Cathy Roberts wears a 303rd Fighter Squadron patch. BTW: Because the A-10 is a single-seater, it's impossible to give incentive flights in this aircraft - in contrast to F-16 Fighting Falcon ("Viper") trainers and the F-15E Strike Eagle. And so, 442nd Fighter Wing did a great job with "hiring" these T-38 to give Cathy the feeling of flying in a combat jet. Cathy, whenever you read that, would you bee so kind to give us some feedback about you feelings?
