Claiborne contractors get up close and personal



A group of civilian contractors working out of Claiborne Range take a break from their tour of Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, to gather for a group photo January 13, 2010. Claiborne Range, located three hours South of Barksdale, is used by the 47th Fighter Squadron as an air-to-ground gunnery range for A-10 Thunderbolt II training. Brian Crowe, a civilian contractor working out of Claiborne Range, located three hours South of Barksdale AFB, Louisiana, attempts to land safely using virtual reality simulation requiring him to maneuver himself by parachute after being ejected from an aircraft.
