45th Fighter Squadron rejoins A-10 community (Part Two)

Today or last night, 917th Wing Public Affairs released some additional pictures:



As the sun sets, a B-52H Stratofortress stands opposite a group of A-10 Thunderbolt IIs and a KC-135 Stratotanker at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, January 6, 2010. The aircraft were set up to be used as displays and transportation for the 45th Fighter Squadron reactivation ceremony at D-M January 7, 2010. The reactivation of the historic unit brought the squadron back into the A-10 Thunderbolt II community. Current members, retirees and distinguished visitors witnessed the ceremony.
