  1. Welcome home - I am very actively researching use (and more importantly non-use) of depleted uranium penetrator rounds fired in "combat mix" of four rounds of Armor Piercing (AP) to one round of High Explosive Incendiary (HEI) by USAF A-10 Aircraft. Your squadron deployed to Desert Storm and I see returned home from Afghanistan. I would like to correspond with Pilots and Armament specialists about when DU (AP rounds) were used and when they were not. I am of strong opinion that they were never used in Afghanistan since there were no tank targets. Thanks. Roger - DUStory-owner@yahoogroups.com
